Super attractive training in yachting and sailing sports.
Over 20 children and adults were trained in the management of a yacht, surf and paddleboard within the event "Catch the Wind in the Sails" under the project of "Yacht Club Port Bourgas" from the Strategy of MIRG "Burgas-Kameno" - under the Program for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries 2014-2020" of EFMDR. The project also delivered specialized equipment for safety during trainings, competitions and events.

The crew of the "Chocolate 3" from Yacht club "Port Bourgas" is this year's winner of the transitional "Golden Globe" award for the best sailing achievement for 2023.
The nomination was preferred by the commission because of the successful participation and excellent ranking in the offshore regatta "Rolex Middlesea Race" 2023, in which he finished first in the ORC 2 class and second in the IRC 2. We end today with great news about the presentation of our competitors at the EurILCA European Championship in Dziwnow, Poland in ILCA 4 class.
Marian Shangov finished 8th and waved the Bulgarian flag on the podium of the European Competition Forum. The result comes after a steady performance during all competition days and the young talent earned his place in the top 10 of a total of 210 competitors.

The Burgas sailor Mihail Kopanov embarked today on the adventure of his life. This morning he sailed from the Yacht club Port Bourgas to Plymouth, England. The deadliest regatta in the world, which will cross the Titanic, will start from the British port.

Mihail Kopanov & “Krone One” – Head out to the top of the most prestigious transatlantic race!
In 2020 the annual “ORIGINAL SINGLE-HANDED TRANSATLANTIC RACE” or “OSTAR” will take place.
The host of the race is “Royal Western Yacht club of England”. The first race has been conducted in the distant 1960 and the 2020 edition of the race will mark its 60th anniversary of single-handed sailing race across the Atlantic ocean.
